Oscar’s Home! Benefit secures award nomination!!!

We are thrilled to announce that one of our fundraising events, Oscar’s Home! Benefit for the Oscar Hammerstein Museum and
Theater Education Center held this past March at the Player’s Club in New York City has been nominated for a 2017 Broadway
World Cabaret Award (Special Event category)! The show was hosted by Will Hammerstein, grandson of Oscar
Hammerstein II and president of the nonprofit and Ted Chapin, president and chief creative officer of the Rodgers and
Hammerstein Organization along with Steve Schonberg and Kristine Lewis. Performances by Broadway stars included Laura
Osnes (Bandstand), and Ann Harada (Avenue Q), Erich Bergen (The Jersey Boys film), Liz Larsen (Beautiful: The Carole King
Musical), Telly Leung (Aladdin), Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof), James Snyder ((If/Then), and Sal Viviano (Falsettos).
Emmy Award winner Lance Horne served as music director. Voting runs through December 31, 2017 and winners will be
